Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Compel (“Service”, “we”, “our”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Compel is an App Store Optimization (ASO) keyword intelligence platform that tracks iOS App Store keyword rankings, provides competitor analysis, and generates ASO reports. Ranking data is sourced from Apple's public suggestion APIs and App Store metadata.

3. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@compel.sh if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Subscription & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All fees are in USD and non-refundable except as required by law or as stated below.

Free trial & cancellation

Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial-month refunds are given after the trial.

14-day refund policy

If you are unsatisfied within 14 days of your first paid charge (excluding trial extensions), contact us for a full refund. Subsequent renewals are non-refundable.

Price changes

We will notify you at least 30 days in advance of any price changes.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service beyond what the UI provides.
• Attempt to circumvent any rate limits, access controls, or authentication mechanisms.
• Use the Service to track competitors' apps for purposes of manipulation, review-bombing, or other bad-faith activities.
• Resell or redistribute raw data obtained from the Service without our written permission.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.

6. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Keyword ranking data is sourced from Apple's public APIs and is provided on a best-effort basis. Rankings can vary by device, country, time of day, and Apple's own changes to their algorithm. We make no guarantees of accuracy or completeness. Do not make sole business decisions based on our data.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and all underlying software, designs, and trademarks are owned by Roop Labs, LLC. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own internal business purposes.

You retain ownership of any app or keyword data you input. By using the Service, you grant us a licence to process that data solely to provide the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) USD 100.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Berlin, Germany, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country requires otherwise.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
